The Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) is a private, not-for-profit organization,
of public interest, a partnership of nine institutions with research and development
in the field of Telecommunications IT mission is to create and disseminate scientific
knowledge in the field of telecommunications.
IT is actively involved in fundamental and applied research both at national and international levels.
Simultaneously it is committed to foster higher education and training, by hosting and tutoring graduate and
postgraduate students. it also plays its role towards public society with public awareness initiatives,
knowledge transfer to industry, and by providing consulting services on a non-competing basis.

• We participated in the ScienceVerse fair, The event was organized by EMBS chapter University of Aveiro
(IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society), ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa,
and Universidade de Coimbra. The Quantum Random Number Generator and
the Random Prime Number Generator developed under the QuantumPrime project, was exhibited.

• We participated in the "TECH4INNOV" event, in Santa Maria da Feira organized by the ANI - Agência
Nacional de Inovação. The event promoted technologies, products, and services. The Quantum Random Number
Generator and the Random Prime Number Generator developed under the QuantumPrime project, was exhibited.

• We participated in the TICE Technological Exhibition (Information, Communication, and Electronic
Technologies) on 25 January 2023. Organized by the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, the event aimed to
promote technologies, products, and services. The Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG), developed under
the Quantum Prime and QuRunner projects, was exhibited.

• The Fundação da Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT) approved the project QuantumPrime in the call for ST&TD
projects in all scientific fields. on 25 January 2023. Organized by the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, the
event aimed to promote technologies, products, and services. The Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG),
developed under the Quantum Prime and QuRunner projects, was exhibited.
